Warmer weather got you thinking about that exterior painting project just waiting for you to start? Want to know how best to prep the site to ensure the project is a success? Then this class is for you! Mark Johnston from Historic Design Consulting LLC will lead class attendees during this rigorous hands-on workshop covering everything you need to know to get your painting project prepped just right. A master craftsman, Mark will share his knowledge and expertise and cover topics including site clearance, lead safety, when and where to scrape, the proper use of caulk, and how to prime. Come prepared to work and learn from a pro!
The Exterior Painting Prep Hands-on Workshop takes place on Saturday, May 10th, 12-4 pm, at 513 7th Avenue South in a historic southside neighborhood near downtown St. Cloud. Attendees will work on the garage of a gorgeous Queen Anne-style cream-colored brick home built in 1894 for Swiss-born jeweler, Fritz Guy, and his wife, Olga. Cost for the class is $75.
